Stow
Objects, files and checkpoints for applications, agents and tests. Start locally, keep history, and take your work with you.

What it does
Stow stores objects, files and checkpoints for applications, agents and tests. It brings together a local S3-compatible service, native file workspaces, and embedded storage runtimes.
A workspace can keep immutable checkpoints and move between machines as a portable archive. Browser storage adds local editing history and explicit sync. Applications remain responsible for running code, controlling network access, and deciding how to handle conflicts.
Where it fits
Local development, disposable test storage, offline editing, and agent workspaces that need a record of their work. The project has Go, TypeScript, Python and WebAssembly surfaces.
Stow is free and open source under Apache 2.0. The Go module is available; the public documentation currently directs TypeScript and Python users to build from source.
